Municipal Primary Election Update

Thank you to everyone who voted in this year’s municipal primary election and participated in the campaign process.

The municipal cycle is crucial for electing our local climate leaders and advancing policies to achieve 100% renewable energy and ensure positive environmental outcomes.

Although officials are still tallying votes, we want to update you on where things stand with O₂ Utah-endorsed candidates.

We are optimistic a number of our endorsed candidates will be moving on to November's general election!

  • Jim Bennett (Sandy City Council)

  • Jordan Davis (Draper City Council)

  • Aaron Dekeyzer (Sandy City Council)

  • Dave Graf (Ogden City Council, D4)

  • Ted Knowlton (North Salt Lake City Council)

  • Taylor Knuth (Ogden Mayor)

  • Collin Larson (North Salt Lake City Council)

  • Marni LeFevre (West Valley City Council, D1)

Two of our endorsed candidates, Angel Castillo (Ogden Mayor) and David Rodgers (Murray City Council, D1), are currently behind but are in extremely close races.
